How much do you charge?
For general gardening, we charge, per person, per hour. Quite often we send out teams of two or three. If, for example, you wanted four hours of gardening, it may be done by two people working for two hours each- totalling four hours. Some jobs, such as paving repair, may cost a little bit more- due to the labour intensity. We always inform you of this prior to taking your booking.
Why does tidying up take so long?
We remove all the garden waste. Even if it is going in your bin, it still takes time to collect it up, blow all the leaves together and remove any debris from the garden beds. We hold ourselves to very high standards, and leaving your garden looking perfect is just part of it. Many people don’t realise that the clean-up can take just as long as the project itself.
What happens with all the garden waste?
That is up to you. We can do one of the following or a combination to suit your requirements.
- Put the waste in your green bin/ garden bag
- Place it verge side for collection if you have a Green Waste servicing your area
- Remove it. Waste removal incurs an extra charge ranging from $30.00 for a large bag to $200 for a full large trailer.
What kind of services do you provide?
Apart from general weeding and gardening, our staff are trained in a range of specialist areas. If you don’t see a service you require on the list, feel free to enquire anyway – chances are, we can help.

Do you mow lawns?
We are fully equipped with mowers, edgers and whipper snippers, and we mow lawns as part of our gardening service however we do not accept jobs which are purely lawn mowing. We can recommend a lawn mowing service in your area.
Do I pay on the day?
No, we send out invoices the next business day, which are due to be paid upon receipt. We find this a lot easier for everyone, especially since many of our programmed maintenance customers are FIFO workers. Invoices are generally sent via email, however we can post them if you would prefer.
Do you require a deposit?
For comprehensive garden make-overs a deposit is required. We do not require a deposit for general gardening, although we will not be able to take your booking if you have an outstanding invoice.
Can I ask for extra time on the day?
Absolutely. If you suddenly realise you want an extra garden bed turned over, or you want some plants re-potted, you can ask the staff to stay and do some extra work. We do ask that you re-book for another day if it is going to be more than two hours.
Can you tell me why my plant is dying?
Generally, yes! Each of our team members has a particular area of interest and knowledge. If the gardener doesn’t know the answer, someone on the team will. We can also advise on soil amendments, alkalinity, soil type and sun/shade requirements.
Can you tell me what plants to choose for my garden?
Helping you choose your plants is all part of the service. Call our office to arrange a free Garden Visit with either Wanda or Enrico. They will be able to suggest a range of plants to suit your budget and taste.
